PowerPoint Presentations
I am a huge fan of PowerPoints when doing a presentation; I think that it really explains things and makes it easier for the audience to follow along. You can add pictures, charts, words, and many more. I think they are better when there is just a quick statement that is about what is going to be explained instead of having the slide word for word - this makes it easier to follow along so that the audience is not reading everything that is on the slide and not paying attention to the speaker. A lot can be done with PowerPoints; there are different background available, different colors, and pictures. I think that Hans does a great job at explaining all this and also does a great job with animation in his powerpoints.

Kindle vs. Copyright Law
When I first began to watch the video about the Kindle and read about it not once did copyrighting come into my mind. I don't believe that it should be against the law for this technology to read out load. Does this mean that when a teacher reads a book to a class thats against the copyright law? Or singing to a song? I understand that this will take away from the books on tape, but isn't this part of competition? This shouldn't go anywhere in court because it shouldn't be illegal. I really like the idea of a Kindle and I think that if you read a lot of books it's a lot cheaper to buy the books on the Kindle.

HOPE poster of Obama Argument
There were posters, stickers, and fliers made of the the HOPE picture. There was huge controversy in regards to whether this picture should have been against a copyright law. The picture was taken from the internet that a photographer had taken of Obama and Shepard Fairey had manipulated the picture with changing the color, adding text, and adding graphics. I am in between on this topic because I agree that a picture should not have been taken from a photographer because the photography is an art that was created by someone. Also i think that there may be enough manipulation done to this photo for it to be presented differently. I don't think that it should have been a big deal in the first place because its not a HUGE issue. I am glad that the charges were dropped and I think that it was a great picture that was changed and got out to everyone across America.

Digital Art
Personally I am not a big fan of art in the "cloud" (the internet) because i find that it doesn't give a true meaning of your talent. I believe that it is harder and I would rather sit down with a peace of paper and some paint and just go at it. A good thing about it though is that there are no messes! As far as doing art on an iphone with pictures; I think that it is pretty cool that it can go anywhere with you. Not only is the art world advancing but also the technology in the world to be able to do all of this.
